Former Director of Abjuration at the Gravelgard Arcane Bureau. Gordon was Alison and Ernesto’s mentor since the two began studying magic.

Gordon became involved in necrotic magic experiments using a Shard of Ragnaxxa given to him by the Hierophant. When the experiments became public, Gordon was removed from his position at the Bureau, Ernesto took over as Director, and Alison was sent away on an assignment beneath her.

Gordon died by suicide after the events of The Promotion, to escape the Hierophant.
